The Story Begins

The Medpm Community began in March 29, 2018 as a private facebook group and has grown to 2,700+ practice managers, administrators, and owners on 3 platforms (Online Community, Linkedin, & Facebook Group).

Medpm FB Group Established
- March 29, 2018

Private group is created by Erik Lloyd.

600+ members (Covid Support)
- April, 2020

The group welcomes it's newest members passing 600 and continues to support each other through the COVID chaos.

 

Online Community Added
- July 6, 2020

To further support the needs of the group and it's growth an online community is added. The online community allows for specialty and location specific groups and better document and template sharing.

Amy Oliver, CMPE

Mentorship & Training Development Director

As the Membership and Training Development Director for the community, Amy is using her experience as a Practice Manager and Organizational Development Professional to help members through supportive programs and resources. She takes great pleasure in coaching teams and individuals through experiences designed to develop interpersonal communication skills, strengthen Emotional Intelligence and drive higher team performance.
 
Amy is a Certified Medical Practice Executive with the Medical Group Management Association. She worked in healthcare administration in the primary care setting for both adults and pediatrics from 2012 to 2019 before transitioning into Organizational Development for a large non-profit Children's hospital. In her roles, she has worked to strengthen individuals and teams, improve patient outcomes, and optimize operational performance. 
 
Originally from Virginia, she now lives in Birmingham, AL with her husband and two cats. She enjoys reading, planning vacations and travel, and she's never met a chocolate chip cookie she didn't like.

Erik Lloyd, MBA, CMPE

Community Admin

As Medpm Community Admin Erik supports the community through member management, growth, and service development. His goal is to give back in support of those truly working to CARE FOR PEOPLE.

I believe we have been given a mission and purpose to serve others 'as we would want to be served'.

He currently manages a Family Medicine with Obstetrics practice. His experience includes positions as Practice Administrator, Referral Coordinator, and Practice Manager. Beginning his career in southern California in 2004 at a Family Medicine & Occupational Medicine practice, he moved to central California to help his brother with a new practice start-up in 2012. 

The support he receives daily (to whom he gives thanks & credit) include Jesus, his family, practice team, church, and the MEDPM Community!
