Welcome to the MedPM Mentorship Program!
We are committed to building a strong, supportive community for practice managers and providing a space to grow and learn in your careers. Towards that end, we are very excited to bring our mentorship program to you!
We know how easy it is to feel lonely and isolated in your role as a manager, but we believe you don’t have to go it alone! Mentors can be a valuable resource to you as you navigate the ever-changing world of healthcare and practice management. We know that mentoring benefits everyone – mentors and mentees become more engaged, productivity increases, retention rates get a boost, and diversity, inclusion, and company culture also improve from these relationships. One of the hardest things about starting a mentor relationship is finding a mentor and MedPM is happy to help!
I’ve been fortunate enough to have three different mentors over the course of my career and I know that my current success is due in some part to their investment in me.
I had someone I could call when I needed advice, was at my wit’s end with how to solve a problem and needed a sounding board for decisions. My mentors helped me avoid some costly mistakes and pointed me in the right direction when I was unsure of how to move forward.
Medical Practice Manager Mentorship - Connect with a Medpm Mentor or Mentee
How it works
MedPM offers mentor matching as a free service to our community! We ask that mentor matches commit to five or six months of relationship building and work towards specific objectives. MedPM screens all mentors and mentees to ensure the best possible match is made based on skill-set, life experiences, and personality. Once a match is made, both the mentor and the mentee will receive guidance and resources from MedPM to get the relationship off to a good start.
Anyone can request a mentor through MedPM, and there is no cost to participate in the program. If you are interested in being paired with a mentor, fill out our mentor request form. Amy Oliver, our Mentorship and Training Development Director, will follow up and get to work finding a good match for your needs. While MedPM cannot guarantee you will be matched with a mentor within a specific time-frame, we will communicate with you every step of the way and work to find you a match as quickly as possible!

Become a Mentor
The Medpm Mentor Program is designed to match and connect experienced Practice Administrators & Managers with managers seeking a mentoring experience.
MEDPM offers mentor matching as a free service to our community. Studies show that successful mentoring relationships lead to greater success on a personal and professional level. We are grateful you have an interest in sharing your experience and expertise with a Mentee.
MEDPM works with participants to identify specific areas in which they wish to grow. We then search our network to find the best possible match based on skill-set, life experiences, and personality. Once you have completed the document below, we'll get to work behind the scenes to find a Mentee that will benefit most from your contribution.
As a MEDPM Mentor we ask for a 6 month commitment with your assigned Mentee, with a minimum of 1 meeting per month. If you choose to continue your relationship after your commitment has ended, we encourage you to do so.

MEDPM works with participants to identify specific areas in which they wish to grow. Once you have completed the document below, we'll search our network to find a Mentor that's your best possible match based on skill-set, life experiences, and personality. All responses are kept confidential. While MEDPM cannot guarantee that you will be matched with a Mentor, we will do our best effort to find you a match.
We ask MEDPM Mentees for a 6 month commitment with your assigned Mentor. If you choose to continue your relationship after your commitment has ended, we encourage you to do so.
